FAIRWEATHERFRIEND DEBUTS ON KXCI

Thank you to Matt Milner, host of KXCI 91.3FM's Locals Only radio show here in Tucson AZ, for debuting fairweatherfriend's 7inch single of "You And I" b/w "Fair-Weather Friend" tonight! It was so much fun, and we hope you all had a chance to hear fairweatherfriend's music; if not, you will have to wait until March 26th! FAIRWEATHERFRIEND FIRST LISTEN

Tonight, Monday, January 7th, KXCI 91.3FM Community Radio will play the brand new fairweatherfriend 7inch record for the very first time at 8:00pm on Locals Only. fairweatherfriend is a brand new shoegaze / dreampop band from Tucson AZ that has never played a live show, so unless you are close friends with the band, or caught the demos they posted on their SoundCloud page a while back, tonight will be the first time the world has heard fairweatherfriend. Their 7inch single is still being put together with final touches, but we received the Test Pressings just last week, and we were oh-so-excited that we asked our dear friend Matt Milner, host of KXCI's Locals Only show, if he wanted to have a first-on-air-spin with the fresh wax.

The band themselves had their first opportunity to hear their finished work when they stopped by our corporate offices earlier this week (photographs below). It was a perfect pressing, so we are all-systems-go with production. The release date is set for March 26th. If you can't wait until then, tune in to KXCI tonight at 8:00pm to listen to fairweatherfriend for the very first time; Milner will be playing both tracks from the 7inch single and interviewing the band members.

FAIRWEATHERFRIEND TEST PRESSING

Well folks, 2012 isn't even over yet, but we're moving onto 2013 already! Next up is an amazing band from Tucson AZ called fairweatherfriend, and we just received the test pressing for their debut 7inch single, "You & I," b/w "Fair Weather Friend!" Fans of dream-pop / shoegaze bands like Adorable, The Dears, The Depreciation Guild, Starflyer 59, Wild Nothing, and Verve be warned now... fairweatherfriend is going to be the next record to wear out your needle!
